Last time I did 130 for the one rep max (I don’t have this particular WOD)…so I guess I had a PR today! I’ve never dumped a weight b4 and today I had to twice! I usually go down with the weight (ouch!), but now I’m not afraid to throw it! Makes the heavier weight not as scary b/c you have a way out. I like it, I like it!

Yes I played it safe on the last two, but so someone can learn from my process, we stuck with the plan go heavy on every set. 3@315 felt maximal but I got a solid 3 so go up. I had to dump 325 on 1st rep (probably in my head but ok). When dumping, commit, I tried to sneak away and the bar sort of slid off (owww). The second 275 should have been 295 and finished above 300 on my final, but I’m still ruined for climbing stairs the rest of the day.

I had a similar experience to MattP and the bar just slid down my back- obvioulsy I need a drop clinic I didn’t do my final set b/c my back was really tender. This week has just destroyed me…………..see you guys tomorrow!

I wanted to go up in weight but I don’t have bumpers and did not want to drop it. My legs can esily do more but my torso needs to get stronger so I don’t lean over as much.

I didn’t even want to get out of bed this morning but I am sure glad I did!

That was all I had. Completely spent after those 4 sets, so I did 1 more 3 rep set with a light 225.
